Description

I'm loving doing these today, so here's another one! ;p

From left to right and top to bottom...

:bulletred: Red: Pretty self-explanatory. Swatch of Kiko's 236 Orange Red. This was another crush's favorite color. Can you imagine? xDDDD Freshman me spent too much time thinking about boys.

:bulletyellow: Festival: I bought a glitter set from a store, thinking it would be great to add different types of glitter to my manis, but it was such a pain in the butt, I only used it once. The glitter just wouldn't stick to the polish :( This was a good mani, though, because it set the standard for a specific type of manicure I'd do more times later on; one in which every nail had a different design or texture. I call them festive manicures because they are colorful and fun (?)

:bulletgreen: 476: Swatch of Kiko's 476 and right hand counterpart to Festive. My thumb nail is so short here because, while I was wearing Red, I went shopping, tried on a pair of jeans that were too small for me, and broke my nail trying to pull them up :cries: #thickleggedgirlproblems

:bulletblue: Deep: All riiiight, this is hands down one of my best manicures, and along with Starstruck (shown in part 2) set a standard for a specific type of manicures, one I call "Classic". My classic manicures usually have a holographic glitterly polish for the base and a design made out of swirls and dots. They make great Christmas-themed manicures! :D
Anyhoo, I bought lots of polishes back in my freshman year, so the nail-painting process (?) typically started by swatching one of my newest polishes and then drawing whatever. I could afford buying a couple new colors every week so picking the manicure's main shade wasn't much trouble :XD: This one was a holographic from Kiko, can't remember the name or number. I've tried to recreate the mani in other colors, but the outcome has never been as great as this one :heart:

:bulletblack: Mine(on)craft: Get it? Mi-neon-craft... :lmao: ok I know it sucks xDDD Anyways: Minecraft manicure in neon colors. The creeper faces came out better this time xDD I made this so I could catch the attention of a few people at my school; I'm majoring in Computer Science so most people in my class are nerds to a certain degree. I'm kind of a poser, though, because I haven't played Minecraft that much HAHAHAHA

:bulletgreen: 476 and 362: 362 is the pink polish, and my favorite color. It was more red in real life but I put unoriginal Instagram filters in all my photos back then. Also, the "sexy" neon glitter. xDDDD Right hand counterpart to Mine(on)craft

:bulletpurple: Violet: I said I tried recreating Deep... two weeks later HAHAHAHAHA I used a glittery polish from Essence as the base, a purple version of the one I used in Starstruck, then drew swirls and dots on top, but it looked too busy and crowded (?). I ended up liking it though, and tried to recreate this one, in a Nailception manner xDDD
What I really like about this is the accent nail, though; the white one. I took a "work in progress" shot of it and it looked beautiful! It's on my Instagram.

:bulletblack: Black Stars: Right hand counterpart to Violet and swatch of some glitter polish. Not too much to say about it tbh ^^;

Aaaaand that's it! Might post more tomorrow, this is fun hehehe. Gotta study now~

Hope you liked it!
